The High Queens of Númenor — part I
Gong Li as Tar-Ancalimë
(ruled S.A. 1075–1280) was the seventh Ruling Queen of Númenor. Her name means “Most bright”. She was known for her pride, as well as recanting the aid Numenor had previously afforded to Gil-Galad and the colonies of Middle Earth.
Michelle Yeoh as Tar-Ciryatë
(ruled S.A. 1869-2029), or Ar-Balkumagân in Adûnaic, was the twelfth Queen of Númenor. Her rule marked the first coming of the shadow upon the Númenóreans and their rulers, the speaking out openly against the Valar and the Ban, colonialism, and dominion abroad.
Deanie Ip as Ar-Pharazôn
(ruled S.A. 3255 - 3319) was the twenty-fifth and last Queen of Númenor. Of all the Queens of Númenor, she wielded the most power, but used it most unwisely; her desire for more power caused the destruction of Númenor and the Change of the World.
